Paver Workshops

 Workshops to glue the tiles onto pavers were held at Sunshine Heights Primary School.

There was a series of workshops with Parents and another with Staff of the school.


Here are some photos.

All of the materials needed are travelling to the workshops



Four teachers work together on one paver and it is awesome!!!!

Above: You can see some of the tiles which have been brought to the workshops so that the parents can choose which ones to put on each paver.

The tiles are fired!

 Here is a photo of the kiln that the tiles were fired in. Each tile has to have two firings - a bisque, which transforms the clay into a hard tile (stone) and then a second one where I paint a glaze (like putting powdered glass onto the surface of the tile) and then it comes out shiny!
